

Ingredients
- 2 cup thick poha
- 1 turmeric
- 2 tbsp oil
- 5 tbsp peanut
- 2 green chilies finely chopped
- 1 big onion finely chopped
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp lemon
Instruction
1. Firstly, in a large bowl take 2 cup of poha. Do not take thin poha as it turns mushy as soon as you add water.
2. Rinse in water and drain off the water.
3. Mix gently using your fingers without making poha mushy.
4. Rest for 8-10 minutes, or until the poha softens without turning mushy or sticky.
5. In a large Kadai or pan heat 2 tbsp oil and roast 5 tbsp peanut on low flame.
6. Roast until the peanuts turn crunchy, keep aside.
7. In the same oil, add 1 onion, saute until the onions softens slightly add chilles.
8. Further, add1 tsp turmeric and salt to taste. Saute slightly.
9. Add soaked poha and mix well combining everything well.
10. Cover and simmer for 3 minutes or until the poha is cooked well.
11. Switch off the gas
12. Now add fried peanuts, 1 tbsp lemon. Mix well.
13. Finally, enjoy kanda poha recipe with the mixture as a morning breakfast.
